For maths activities at home, we recommend the weekly resources that White Rose Maths Hub are currently making available for free on their website. At school, we follow the White Rose scheme of work, so the materials they are posting at the moment pick up exactly where the children have left off at school.
Each lesson includes a high quality teaching video, a series of problems for the children to work through, and a separate document with the answers.
These resources are available here.
We will also make available a 'Maths Mystery' each week (see above). These are fun investigations that encourage application of maths skills, in a format the children will be very used to.
Each week we will provide a variety of English activities, including an extended writing task to be done over two days/sessions.
April 22nd is Earth Day. To mark the occasion, we would like you to use the excellent resources provided on the WWF website. They have a different activity for each day of the week, focusing on fresh water.
