For maths activities at home, we recommend the weekly resources that White Rose Maths Hub are currently making available for free on their website. At school, we follow the White Rose scheme of work, so the materials they are posting at the moment pick up exactly where the children have left off at school.
As of this week, White Rose are no longer providing worksheets for free, however the teaching videos will still be continuing, and we will continue to recommend these.
These videos are available here.
We are looking into purchasing a subscription that will let us use all of the White Rose resources in future weeks.
BBC Bitesize are providing daily worksheets on their website. They are following the same weekly curriculum as White Rose, so the worksheets will complement the White Rose teaching videos very well.
These worksheets are available here.
We will also make available a 'Maths Mystery' each week (see above). These are fun investigations that encourage application of maths skills, in a format the children will be very used to.
Each week we will provide a variety of English activities, including an extended writing task to be done over two days/sessions.
