Autumn Term 2022/23 - A Twist in the Tale
This term's Writing Competition is called:
“A Twist in the Tale”
We are asking children to write a mini saga of no more than 100 words that includes an interesting twist. You could retell a classic fairy tale and add your own unexpected twist, an original story of your own or begin with an historic event and change the outcome.
To enter you need to write your Twisted Tale out on a Competition Entry form and return your entry to your class teacher or Mr Penson (Writing Subject Lead) by Monday 12th December.
All entries will be posted off to Young Writers (an organisation that runs nationwide, creative writing competitions) for the chance to win a creative writing goody bag, a prize for our school and to be published in a book.
