Catholic Life and Mission

May Procession 2025Our Mission Statement

'Achieving our best by learning together and serving one another with Christ by our side'

We aim to:

  • Achieve excellence for all
  • Be ‘for others’
  • Find God in all things
  • Build the Kingdom
  • Laugh and grow strong

It is important to us that we live out our mission statement in our daily lives.

We achieve this by:

  • Exploring the words at every assembly and sharing how we think we have ‘ lived’ it out
  • Every religion book has the mission statement in books and the first lesson at the start of each year is devoted to illustrating the words
  • The mission is in every room in the school
  • We have actions to help us remember the keywords of our call to Learn and Serve

Catholic Life – embedded in what we are about.

We have a long-term plan which illustrates how we ensure our Catholic Mission is lived out. Across the school year, every class takes on one aspect of the liturgical year to celebrate with the whole school and parents, through assemblies.

A year group attends Friday morning mass weekly at the Parish.
Every week, Mrs Murphy’s Monday Messages, explore an aspect of Catholic Life.

In May and October, we come together as a community to pray a decade of the Rosary at the front of school. Liturgy leaders help support Catholic life by playing a key role in liturgies and assemblies.
