Pupil Leadership Team

Pupil Leadership Team

This is led by a group of year 6 pupils who represent each class. They meet bi weekly with Ms Murphy

( Headteacher).
Each member of the team has a responsibility to develop good relationships with their classes, listen and collect their views and to bring them for discussion in meetings.

There is a set agenda for meetings and one member of the team has the responsibility to start each meeting with a prayer and to compete the minutes of the meetings.

Pupil Voice - why does it matter?

At St. Ignatius, we feel it is vital that every voice is heard as the school belongs to the children within it and it is by listening to the views of others further embed our CST values as well as British values of democracy.

House Captains

Our Year 6 children campaigned for votes to become their House’s Captain for this year. They designed campaign posters, wrote speeches and recorded them on video for all the children of the school to watch. The children then voted in their classes for their chosen candidate for their House.
