Year 3-6 Flamenco Dance Workshop More events...
  • Year 3-6 Flamenco Dance WorkshopOn Monday 9th June 2025, the Flamenco Dance Workshop will come into school to visit Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 for the day. Helena will be leading the Flamenco Dance Workshops . She has been dancing Flamenco for over 30 years and has been teaching for more than 25 years. She studied Flamenco and Spanish Classical and Regional Dance in Spain spending many years learning and perfecting her art in the major Flamenco schools in Madrid, Seville and other cities. Helena will be giving the children a Flamenco lesson.The children will begin to learn about one of the most famous and popular dances in Spain and gain inside knowledge into Spanish culture.

  • Years 3-6 Búsqueda Del Tesoro Spanish PerformanceOn Thursday 12th of June, Búsqueda Del Tesoro Spanish will come to perform at our school also for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 for the day. Búsqueda Del Tesoro Spanish play is performed by an English actor and a native Spanish performer. Imagine your Children diving into Spanish through vibrant storytelling, games, song and interactive activities—all designed to ignite their love for language and boost confidence. They bring their immersive Theatre in Education shows and workshops right to the school, making language practice exciting, memorable, and effective. The performances offer: Engaging Content: Interactive shows and workshops tailored for primary-aged students, full of storytelling, mime, song, and movement. Language Skill-Building: Techniques that develop listening, speaking, and critical thinking through fun, hands-on activities. A Lasting Impact: A fun, energetic way to boost confidence and inspire future linguists!
