As part of our commitment to our custodial duty to our world, we are embracing the principles of Laudato Si and doing what we can to protect our environment.
Mr Walsh has been working with our elected Eco Council to encourage recycling, energy saving, litter picking and taking part in the weekly Wastebusters challenge. We have started work towards the Eco Schools Award.
Working with Mrs Harris, the children have been planting in the playground and this term will be working on recycled junk sculptures as part of a national campaign to reduce plastic in the oceans.
The children have also been looking at the CAFOD initiative Power to Be, reflecting on what they can do as individuals to protect our world, writing prayers and thinking about positive action they can take to have impact on the wider world.
