Our Catholic Life

Mission Statement

Achieving our best by learning together and serving one another.

We aim to:

· achieve excellence for all

· be ‘for others’

· find God in all things

· build the Kingdom

· laugh and grow strong

All for the greater glory of God

Our mission statement is taken from the words of St. Ignatius.

 

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 9:14

At St Ignatius we ensure that we place strong emphasis on the whole child, supporting their spiritual, moral and emotional development as well as their academic attainment.

We help our children to develop and grow in love and faith, grounded in Catholic values, teaching and traditions, which are also reflected by our staff.

 

Our Catholic Values

Each week we will focus on a different Catholic value. We will have dedicated collective worship and links to topics to support this value. These Catholic values link to our behaviour system and children are recognised for acting out these Catholic values during their life at school.
